At 19-years-old, Assaf faced initial setbacks in securing employment. After he failed out of high school, he started to search for job opportunities. With a childhood dream of becoming a pastry chef, Assaf eagerly joined EFE-Jordan's Future Hotelier Academy Initiative after finding it on Facebook.Through this six-month program, Assaf gained skills in food and beverage service, reception, and housekeeping, helping him achieve his goal of kickstarting his career in hospitality. As a Pastry Chef at the Grand Hyatt Amman Hotel, today, Assaf is able to support his family's daily expenses with his steady income.
