In the MENA region and globally, job losses due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic are disproportionately affecting women, threatening to roll back the gains made by those entering the workforce and erase the progress made on gender diversity. Recovery efforts therefore need to include investments to reskill women and connect them to jobs and business support. The consequences will far outlast the pandemic's devastations.
