EFE-Palestine concluded a 24-hour “Finding a Job is a Job” (FJIJ) training program in partnership with the Palestine-based Arab American University. This program, part of the “Skills for Sustainable Jobs” project funded by Fondazione San Zeno, equipped new Palestinian graduates with the skills needed to thrive in today’s competitive job market.
Two cohorts of young people, totaling 95 participants, graduated from the program. The training provided participants with practical skills, such as resume writing, interviewing techniques, and networking strategies. By equipping graduates with these essential tools, EFE-Palestine is ensuring that young graduates have the skills needed to navigate the local and regional employment landscape more effectively and increase their chances of securing meaningful employment.
The program’s success can be attributed to its focus on developing the skills employers are seeking. Beyond technical expertise, participants learned how to effectively communicate, collaborate, and problem-solve. These soft skills are crucial for building strong professional relationships and succeeding in various industries.
