EFE launched its operations in Lebanon in July, beginning with partnership development and prepping to rollout the AFAQ entrepreneurship program. Designed to address the critical shortage of market-relevant training and high youth unemployment, AFAQ will equip Lebanese youth with the skills necessary to succeed in the local job market. The AFAQ Training of Trainers will take place in January 2025, with the first entrepreneurship classes following. Furthermore, EFE was awarded its first grant to implement Job Training & Placement programming in Lebanon, which will train 90 Lebanese youth over two years.

Despite challenges posed by Lebanon's ongoing instability, EFE in Lebanon remains committed to supporting its youth, and teamed up with EFE-UAE to launch 3 virtual LinkedIn training sessions in Arabic, English, and French. These online sessions have helped 70+ Lebanese youth improve their digital and LinkedIn skills and connect with potential employers.

Additionally, EFE in Lebanon offered two successful peer-led workshops for Lebanese trainers on providing constructive feedback and career management, which were well-attended and received positive feedback.
