Education For Employment-Egypt (EFE-Egypt) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with GIZ Egypt – Employment Promotion Project (EPP phase three) to cooperate on providing the TVET graduates with the necessary skills to enroll them in the labor market and bridge the gap between the educational outputs and the labor market needs.
The Employment Promotion Project works jointly with the Egyptian Ministry of Education and Technical Education (MoETE) to improve technical education and the transition from the schools to the labor market in Egypt. Commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, EPP phase three (2020-2023) contributes to achieving the goals of the ongoing Technical Education 2.0 reform of the MoETE and Egypt’s Vision 2030 at large.
