Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – November 1, 2024 – The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Department of Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC), in partnership with Education for Employment (EFE), is proud to announce the launch of the second phase of its Job Training & Placement (JTP) Program for Saudi women. The program, which spans 12 months, focuses on equipping young women with essential soft skills tailored to meet market demands, based on a comprehensive needs assessment.
Building on the success of Phase 1, which graduated 25 young women in 2022—each of whom secured employment in growing sectors—the upcoming phase aims to train and place 20 women in entry-level positions across a variety of industries identified as key for growth in Saudi Arabia.
Aligned with CCC’s CSR priorities of education, job creation, and community development, the program is also in full support of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals to increase female workforce participation and reduce unemployment rates among women. By providing targeted job training and placement, the program seeks to enhance economic opportunities for young women, particularly in sectors that are pivotal to the country’s ongoing development.
This collaboration with EFE reflects CCC’s commitment to improving the social and economic livelihoods of youth by empowering individuals through capacity-building initiatives. Through this partnership, CCC continues to invest in the future of Saudi women, supporting their professional growth and contributing to the realization of a more inclusive and prosperous workforce. When signing the project agreement with EFE, CCC’s Regional Managing Director; Hisham Kawash said “We are thrilled to expand the Job Training & Placement Program for Saudi women, in collaboration with EFE, into its second phase. This initiative is more than just skills training—it's about empowering young women to step confidently into the workforce, opening doors to lasting career growth. By aligning with Vision 2030, we're helping build a future where women can thrive professionally, contribute to their communities, and drive forward Saudi Arabia's economic transformation.”
Likewise, Amr Abdallah, EFE’s Director of Programs, Gulf Region said, “We are very pleased to continue to partner with Consolidated Contractors Company to enable Saudi female youth to reach their potential by empowering them with the cutting-edge skills to compete in growing sectors. The skills these young women will acquire are based on a proven model that has enabled EFE-Saudi Arabia to connect over 19,000 youth to the world of work, with 55% of them being young Saudi women. We look forward to the continuous partnership between EFE-Global, EFE-Saudi, and CCC, driving forward the future of work and economic empowerment.”
The JTP Program will be instrumental in creating lasting impact, providing women with the tools and support necessary to thrive in the workforce while contributing to the Kingdom’s continued economic transformation.
