Education For Employment is thrilled to announce the launch of its first-ever Capital Campaign, “Accelerating The Future of Work”. Responding to the rapid changes in the labor market and the increasing need for job creation and skilled labor, EFE's work is more important now than ever.
The campaign seeks to raise $3,000,000 to unlock the potential of hundreds of thousands of youth by 2025. It is aimed at accelerating EFE’s ability to innovate, leverage technology and scale impact in three priority areas spanning the services they provide youth, their infrastructure, and revenue generation to sustain their mission.
EFE is investing in innovative and high-quality training, digital technology such as AI, employer and alumni engagement, support for entrepreneurs, as well as, enhancing data-gathering, increasing its visibility, scaling revenue generation models, and more.
Thanks to individual and corporate partners such as Agility, Air Products, Bechtel, Western Union Foundation, and others, EFE has already achieved 54% of its $3,000,000 goal and has commenced investments in the priority areas.
There is still a long way to go in helping the next generation of the workforce transform their futures and support their communities.
"Millions of youth will be entering the job market between now and 2050. There is a lot of work that needs to be done to ensure there are jobs available"," stated Andrew Baird, CEO of EFE-Global. "EFE has reached a critical juncture. Our 'Accelerating The Future of Work' Capital Campaign is a crucial step toward closing the staggering unemployment crisis in the region and creating economic opportunities for youth in the Middle East to support themselves and their communities."
