The partnership between EFE and Citi Foundation spans over a decade and has been instrumental in creating lasting change for youth in the MENA region. EFE’s mission to equip young people with the necessary skills and opportunities to succeed in the workforce has been greatly enhanced by the support and investment from Citi Foundation. Through this collaboration, EFE has been able to scale its impact, providing training, mentorship, and job opportunities to more than 5,000 youth, of whom more than 54% are young women.

The long-standing relationship between the two organisations has focused on addressing youth unemployment, particularly in underserved communities, while fostering economic growth and social inclusion across Algeria, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and UAE.

By working together, EFE and Citi Foundation have developed a robust programme for youth to not only gain critical job-related skills but also to build a more prosperous future for the MENA region. The impact of this collaboration is evident in the growing number of graduates who have successfully transitioned into employment, contributing to both their personal success and the development of their communities.
