The Velaj Foundation Supports EFE through the Acceleration Fund

The Velaj Foundation generously contributed to EFE's Acceleration Fund, focusing on EFE’s 2021 strategic priorities for innovation and alumni services. The Velaj Foundation's grant will fund the development of a comprehensive alumni mentoring toolkit, EFE’s first-ever Virtual Alumni Summit, small grants for alumni-led community service initiatives, and a video showing long-term alumni impact. Through our partnership, we also will implement a third edition of The Velaj Foundation Innovation Award, building on the success of the first two innovation awards and tapping into creative ideas from across the EFE Network.

Alexander Velaj is Board Chair and Executive Director of The Velaj Foundation. Created in 2007, The Velaj Foundation provides funding with a focus on outsized impact illustrating the power of philanthropy on a local and global scale and shares the vision with EFE that youth can build brighter futures when they have the hope and dignity of employment.
