EFE-Jordan strengthened the resilience of refugees

EFE-Jordan visited the staff of the Qudra 2 program for the training "Foundational Sewing" in Irbid by EFE-Jordan. With the support of Qudra 2 program, they strengthened the resilience of refugees and internally displaced people and host communities in response to the two Syrian crises.

EFE met with program participants to hear about their experience in the training program. Participants attended trainings on work readiness skills, health, and safety followed by an integrated technical training on industrial sewing.

Qudra 2 is a regional program co-funded by the European Union Regional Credit Fund for Syrian Crisis Response “MADD”, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).

Deutsche Gesself für Internationale Zusmanarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, Expertise France, the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), the Hungarian Aid Agency (HIA), and the Belgian Development Agency (Enabel) are involved in the implementation of this program in the countries covered by Qudra 2, including Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey.
