Dubai, UAE, March 2021: As part of an expanded regional partnership with Boeing, Education For Employment (EFE), the leading youth employment organization in the region, and Zayed University launched a digital marketing training program for female Emirati entrepreneurs youth to successfully launch their new businesses.
In line with the UAE’s 2021 vision and its focus on nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit, the training program aims to provide 50 Emirati female entrepreneurs with the digital marketing skills needed for today’s digital economy. Skills such as choosing the right media tools, and creating online advertising campaigns. These skills will help these ladies navigate the world of e-commerce and increase their ability to build a strong online presence as business owners.
“We have been working with EFE since 2016, because they focus on developing market-relevant skills that are critical in the workplace. The UAE has worked hard to become a hub for startup businesses and we hope this program will help contribute to the growth of these entrepreneurs and their respective businesses. We want nothing more than to see them succeed,” said Bernard Dunn, President Middle East, Africa and Turkey.
Dr. Khalid Al Khazraji, Vice President of Zayed University, said: “Our partnership with EFE and Boeing caps long-term objectives of certifying our graduates with the proper training and essential tools needed to venture into the private sector, which in turn complements the strategic national objectives. Youth empowerment is of great significance on the national agenda and is one of our major key performance indicators here at Zayed University.”

Education For Employment (EFE) and Zayed University kicked off the first series of Digital Marketing training online in February 2021 to provide up to 50 female Emirati youth from alumni and entrepreneur students with digital marketing skills. The program utilizes a groundbreaking blended learning digital marketing curriculum. Beyond gaining marketing technical skills, participants learned about market research and marketing plans that will help them start their businesses, sustain and grow them, and compete in the local market.
