Determined to create a brighter future, she took charge of her destiny, building upon her college work with spirulina—a nutrient-rich algae. Amidst uncertainty, Roua discovered a transformative turning point in her journey when she found Education for Employment's (EFE) training programs. Recognizing the potential impact of this opportunity, she eagerly enrolled in two vital training programs: aquaculture technical training and soft skills development. EFE's comprehensive training equipped Roua with practical skills instrumental in her entrepreneurial pursuit. She learned how to professionally present her project, effectively showcasing its potential impact. Moreover, she mastered the art of developing a persuasive pitch, enabling her to secure two rounds of essential funding. Despite facing early obstacles, Roua's eco-friendly startup, Aquayate, now thrives in the arid landscape of the Algerian desert, producing high-quality organic spirulina. Aquayate's success stems not only from its commitment to sustainable practices but also from Roua's unwavering determination and the transformative support she received from EFE. EFE's guidance and assistance played a pivotal role in transforming Roua's project and personal growth. As Aquayate’s traction grows, Roua dreams of expanding its reach beyond the region, venturing into European and African markets. By doing so, she aims to create employment opportunities for struggling graduates, empowering them to forge their paths. “EFE opened new horizons and pushed the boundaries of what I believed was possible, and for that, I am immensely grateful.
