EFE-Europe and EFE-Palestine in partnership with the European Union are working to empower young men and women in East Jerusalem with the soft, technical, and entrepreneurial skills needed to access the world of work and succeed.

As a joint venture between EFE-Palestine, Al Quds University, Bait Byout, and the Lutheran World Federation, since its launch in 2022, the project has impacted 1800 youth across East Jerusalem.

On February 22, 2023, EFE organized an entrepreneurship competition in which future entrepreneurs pitched their ideas to a jury composed of EFE-Europe, EFE-Palestine, and Al Quds University representatives. Ten youths won a prize of 1,000 EUR each to launch their businesses in various fields including food production, renewable energy, and agrotechnology.
