Supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and executed by GIZ Tunisia with EFE Tunisia, this project is reshaping Tunisia's digital landscape. Henrik Wichmann, Director of GIZ Tunisia's Digital Transformation Program, praised the project, training 300 individuals and creating 254 jobs in partnership with 29 companies and 8 universities. Among them, 105 work-study students in Tunis, Sousse, and Sfax gained advanced skills in various IT areas. Kais Sellami, President of the UTICA ICT Federation, highlighted the tutors' role in student integration. Lamia Cheffai, CEO of EFE-Tunisie, emphasized gender equality, with nearly 50% of trained beneficiaries being women, reinforcing their presence in the digital sector. DigitalWorks aims to generate 600 IT jobs, showcasing its positive impact on Tunisia's youth and the importance of education and diversity in fostering a thriving digital sector.
