Education For Employment-Saudi Arabia recently partnered with U.S.-based multinational corporation Cummins Inc., to promote economic inclusion and ensure that marginalized women have equitable access to the resources and networks of support needed to kick start their professional careers.

Through this partnership, EFE-Saudi Arabia will target 35 unemployed and underprivileged Saudi women between the ages of 18 to 30, and provide them with soft and technical skills development, job training and placement for entry-level positions in a range of high-impact industries dominating national growth initiatives. Graduates of the program will also join EFE’s expansive alumni network and accompanying activities for continued learning and long-term job sustainability.

“We are very pleased to partner with Cummins in Saudi Arabia to enable Saudi female youth to reach their potential and compete in growing sectors, in alignment with Saudi vision 2030. The partnership aims to increase female participation in the workforce, by upskilling 35 Saudi female youth and connecting them to the job market. The skills that female youth will acquire are based on a proven model that has enabled EFE in Saudi to connect over 8,000 youth to the world of work, 52% of which are Saudi females. We look forward to an impactful partnership between EFE-Saudi and Cummins” – Abdullah Al Ghamdi, EFE-Saudi Arabia CEO.

“Through the implementation of its Cummins Powers Women strategic program, Cummins has been of the forefront of the empowerment of women and girls around the world.
