EFE is focused on youth employment in the MENA region.
Each EFE affiliate is locally-run and partially locally-funded, ensuring that all affiliates are efficient and sustainable. Affiliates leverage resources and know-how through the EFE global network.
EFE engages young women and men, local business leaders, educators, civil society and governments in partnerships that produce job placements and entrepreneurship support.
EFE identifies areas of the economy that offer strong growth potential and opportunities for new jobs, but currently lack suitably-qualified personnel.
EFE has successfully placed nearly 80 percent of its graduates in jobs. EFE achieves this rate through actively encouraging employers to commit to job placements and cosponsor graduates.
EFE offers alumni continued support through mentoring and alumni networks. EFE keeps graduates connected with like-minded peers, offers them support in their new jobs, and helps them to become engaged citizens.
EFE continues to look for new ways to provide support for youth with limited opportunity in the MENA region. For example, EFE's entrepreneurship program helps aspiring young entrepreneurs start their own enterprises, a critical step for economic growth across the MENA region.
