EFE-Yemen concluded the Mustaqbal Project that supported Yemeni youth employment during 2021 and 2022. The project, funded by the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program (SDRPY) and Alwaleed Philanthropies, aimed to support youth in the governorates of Aden, Lahj, and Abyan.

The project targeted 100 unemployed youth, 500 university students in their final year of study, and 60 aspiring entrepreneurs with the objective of supporting them to take the first steps toward a job or self-employment. Over the course of the project, EFE-Yemen exceeded its target and graduated 688 trainees from the three program tracks.

Mustaqbal improved the livelihoods of hundreds of youths in the target governorates by facilitating their access to the labor market and self-employment as well as helping them to identify job pathways after graduating from university.
